Arithmetic Resource Website: DadsWorksheets.com

Arithmetic Resource Website:  DadsWorksheets.com

Recently, I received an email from Phoebe Mendez, the content manager of DadWorksheets.com.  It is a free resource website where you can download math worksheets.  The worksheets deal with common and basic arithmetic math drills.  The areas cover:

* Fraction and percentage worksheets
* Arithmetic Worksheets: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Long Division worksheets.
* Multiplication Table, for integers from 1 up to 15.  The tables are in different styles: classic, color (the color scheme is good), and proportional.  The site also has small tables for compact printing.

Both the long division worksheets and multiplication tables bring back, for me, pleasant memories of school.  Check out my work on two long division worksheets:

According to the About page of the website, “Repetition is the path to mastery, and so the logic goes with timed math tests.”  This is true.  Mathematics is not learned by passive but with active participation and practice.  Arithmetic is the foundation of mathematics, and I believe good arithmetic (and math) skills is an essential to having success in life.

All the downloads on the website are free.   The website:  http://www.dadsworksheets.com/

Please check this website out – this is an excellent resource for young students and parents.

Thank you, DadsWorksheets!
